Marlice works as a freelance TV & documentary researcher and creative producer.  She has an eye for finding the right stories and characters, guided by her persistence, intuition and empathy. 

As a true generalist she is capable of diving quickly into new topics and to translate complex material into appealing television, film or podcasts.

Marlice started her career as a sociologist working in politics and policy, regarding social issues like poverty and inequality. After being trained by Wiesje Kuijpers, renowned television maker and journalist, Marlice quickly gained research experience on diverse projects in the Netherlands.
